Terms and conditions
1. Scope and provider
These terms apply to the purchase of a license for “SnapRDP Pro” via this website from Sebastian Stadlbauer, Finklham 4612 Scharten, Austria, email: noreply@finklham.at (“we”). Purchases in the Mac App Store are governed exclusively by Apple’s terms.
2. Subject matter and system requirements
You receive a license key that permanently unlocks the Pro features of the version of SnapRDP downloaded directly from this website (one-time purchase, no subscription). The license is valid for private or professional use by you on up to 1 of your own Macs; you can release a Mac in the app at any time and use the license on another one. It is not transferable and may not be passed on or published. The free features remain usable regardless. The range of features is described on the home page.
System requirements: Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later) and macOS 13 Ventura or later. An internet connection is required to activate and release a Mac. For connections, you need a Windows computer or server with Remote Desktop enabled.
3. Conclusion of the contract and payment
Before buying, you confirm with a separate checkbox that we should start providing the license key right away (see section 5). “Buy Pro” then takes you to the payment form of our payment provider Stripe. There you can review all details before submitting, correct input errors or cancel. By clicking “Pay”, you make a binding offer; the contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed and the license key is displayed. The contract language is English for purchases via the English website and German for purchases via the German website; both language versions of these terms are equally binding. We do not store the contract text separately; you can view and save these terms here at any time, and you receive the purchase confirmation and invoice by email.
Prices are final prices. No VAT is charged under the Austrian small business exemption (§ 6(1) no. 27 UStG). Payment is made via Stripe using the payment methods offered there.
4. Delivery
The license key is displayed on the website immediately after the payment is confirmed and sent by email to the address given during the purchase. For payment methods with delayed confirmation (e.g. direct debit), you receive it once the payment is confirmed.
5. Right of withdrawal for consumers
Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Sebastian Stadlbauer, Finklham 4612 Scharten, Austria, email: noreply@finklham.at) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. by email). The easiest way is our withdrawal function “Withdraw from contract here”, linked at the bottom of every page; you will immediately receive a confirmation of receipt by email. You may also use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. The license key is deactivated with the reimbursement.
Early expiry. The right of withdrawal expires once we have started providing the license key after you expressly agreed on this website before paying that we begin performance before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (§ 18(1) no. 11 Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act, FAGG). You receive the confirmation of this with the purchase email.

6. Refund and deactivation

7. Warranty and liability
The statutory warranty applies, for consumers under the Austrian Consumer Warranty Act (VGG), including the obligation to provide updates necessary to keep the software in conformity with the contract. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for personal injury. We are not liable to businesses for slight negligence; towards consumers, liability for slight negligence is excluded only to the extent permitted by law (§ 6(1) no. 9 Austrian Consumer Protection Act, KSchG).
8. Final provisions
Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and conflict-of-law rules. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence. Information on consumer dispute resolution is in the imprint.
